I was just thinking about Happy Potters mosaic shed and how we haven’t heard anything about it for ages.

How’s it going HP or has progress stalled?

Hi Bubba Louie ,

the job’s ..stalled but not forgotten .. the tile’s are cut and sitting in their set pattern in a box waiting for me to start sticking them on. I have all the tile’s and grout and everything, just need the time. I will do it and send piccies in when it’s done , just not sure when…

third time lucky.. so in case this shows up twice I apologise.

Right a progress pic. It’s taken me nearly 2 years to get started on this , so I made time.
The roof will have teatree on it , guttering and a new door.
The background tiles will be lightish blue, I think, and beige grouting. Then tile sealer.

that’s inspiring – nice job.
what’s this about a teatree on the roof ? – i presume you are referring to a tiled job – not a roof garden.

Thanks Pepe.
Sheet teatree , wired as for fencing panels. Saw them at the B shop. I just have to work out how to attach them.

Oh yeah , that.
Can I ever relate!
I have numerous tile cuts on me and I’ve gone through a whole packet of band-aids already. Even tile dust grazes from cleaning the tile cutter, those tiny particles are sharp lol.

..Other day I went to get a box of tiles out of the tool shed and it was heavy so I grabbed the trolley…as I walked it to the shed I kicked my toe on the rocks , then bent down to look at my bleeding toe and whacked my head on the handle of the trolley LOL!

Haven’t got a clue really. I know it will be small and flat to start with. I’ve always loved the look of mosiac and was determined to have a go at it as one of those things we have to do before we die, sorta. I suspect that it’s this darn computer that causes me to run out of time every day. Wouldn’t swap it for quids though.
