I have a samsung galaxy ace. the computer is windows 7 aspire laptop
I can get it to show up as drive E but when I click drive E it tells me to insert a device.
google’s had me download KIES but I’m not understanding what to do.
Could I please have some help?

Check the device when you plug it in to the PC, most android phones ask how you would like to connect it to the PC. Select ‘as a disk drive’ other options usually include ‘charge only’ etc.
