Subject: Iranian scientist invents 'time machine'

An Iranian scientist claims he has invented a time machine that can predict a person’s future with 98 percent accuracy.
Ali Razeghi, 27, has registered the “Arayayek Time Travelling Machine” which he says uses complex algorithms to predict the future of any individual between five and eight years in advance, the Telegraph reports.

The device analyses fingerprint readings and predicts the future in a print out, he told the state-run Fars news agency. Razeghi, the managing director of Iran’s state-run Centre for Strategic Inventions, has 179 other inventions to his name and said his time machine had been 10 years in the making. “My invention easily fits into the size of a personal computer case and can predict details of the next 5-8 years of the life of its users,” he said. “It will not take you into the future, it will bring the future to you.”

I think they’re just catching up with the 1st of April there.

It’s not a time machine unless he can actually travel forward in time, have a look about, then come back and report.

A predictive algorithm, not matter how sophisticated, is not a time machine.

So, basically, it’s a palm-reader.

I actually would have said it’s bullshit.

I wonder if the device does tarot readings as well.

I’ve got this app on my mobile phone –
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mdb.android.magicball&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5tZGIuYW5kcm9pZC5tYWdpY2JhbGwiXQ..

It find that it’s incredibly accurate, as I just keep shaking it until I get the answer I want.
