Subject: IE10 not finding folders

A tech talk type question.

For the past week or so, when I try to save a file to my local drive using IE 10, if I want to navigate to a different folder, it doesn’t find a lot of them. Often even my top Documents folder is missing, but if I type in Documents it will open that folder (but with many of the sub-folders missing).

Anyone else getting that?

If I understand what you are saying, then yes, all the time, I need to scroll down the search options to find “all files” not just those files containing the extension the machines defaults think I want.

it makes me wonder if the bombs in boston didn’t go off when the first across the line runners came in earlier, not because they had been planted earlier but because the bomber used the already gathered crowd as cover. he/she might have looked a bit suspicious so they had to use the crowds to move amongst. the scene from taxi driver has the main character turning up after the main crowd has been gathered for some time. they might have felt that more people would be gathered to greet their relatives than the winners?

from the large amounts of white smoke generated i’m thinking ammonium nitrate bombs

Yep, and I still use IE9 and no other browser. When I briefly used Windows 8 I was saddled with IE10 and found that the 64 bit version of the browser wouldn’t allow add-ons. Now that IE10 has been ported to Windows 7 are add-ons allowed in the 64 bit browser?
