The reason I was asking was because you’d said: “yesterday i started putting in a few star post finshed off them this arvo, tomorrow before we go shopping ill build the rest of the bin with roofing iron and clean the chooks pen when we get back and compost all of that and but some straw in there.”

Then when I read it again I realised you were talking about building a compost pile with star posts and roofing iron. When I first read it through I though you must have been moving the chooks somewhere.

Other than cleaning out the chook pens, have you got anything else to add to your compost heap?

What’s the plan for building the compost? Have you made a compost heap/pile before?
