Apart from that, there are various drugs and surgical procedures that can lower the libido, but nothing that will get rid of a person’s sexuality & its desires entirely. At least, nothing yet known to science.

Stress, poor diet, no exercise, bad health, bung hormones, galloping knob rot, Heroin addiction….

the cheap and most effective way is manually

Castration doesn’t remove the sex drive, just lowers it. There is no known way to get rid of it entirely. It would need to involve redesigning the human brain.

Age will take care of this particular drive.

Can confirm SSRIs don’t have that effect on me. Nor do SNRIs or tetracyclic.

Just have personal reasons why, but want to get rid of it. For a while, at least. Personally it’s causing a few issues and my life would be so much easier if it didn’t exist anymore.

you probably need some kind of professional help that no one here can help you with

try talking to a GP that maybe specialises in this kind of thing or its only going to continue, get the full facts before taking any kind of medication

To have a sex drive is a hormonal impulse.

With racehorses they often find that with unwieldy colts that the best response is to geld them.

When neutered they perform better, like Phar Lap.

For me, they didn’t change sex drive, just ability to orgasm.

Life would be a lot easier for the police and courts if there was some way of switching off sex drives. Unfortunately it’s not just a matter of hormonal levels but the CNS hardware that they interact with. Areas of the brain such as the amygdala and hypothalamus are strongly involved in sex drive and response to erotic stimuli, but they’re also essential to a lot of more important brain functions. This is why I said “It would need to involve redesigning the human brain”.
