Antenna theory has change a lot over the years old timer. Most of it is wireless now.

That’s a big antenna at 21 or 28MHz. Go for a discone. .
The OP is only listening, so even a long wire will do the job..

A friend of mine just ran a wire. He gets all the listening he needs.
