Is dead.

ABC is not in the business of providing communication between members of the Australian community.

Tune your receivers to ABC stations. Watch. Listen. Absorb. Obey.

The triple j forum appears to be still functioning.

It is, I sometimes post there after song titles. Triplej is shocking at announcing songs. Many times I have been wrapt in a song and no clue who did it and have to goggle lyrics or post to forums. They used to do play lists but not any more it seems, which seems silly, they could be easily copied into a database for publication at the same time the DJ is planning the song selection for their show.

Thank you, that helps heaps. I have no idea why I could not find it. It used to be easy at one time. I guess a format change and I was too dim to find a new link.

I prefer that to hearing DJ talk over the first 30 sec of a song…

I grew tired of them

they were getting good recently

the abc is after a government institution, unwieldy and impractical and rarely delivering the goods

the greek government shut down their national broadcaster after getting jack of them

True. My new favourite song till the next one, took me ages to find it cos it is hard to get lyrics, not played much and hardly ever announced.

But it only gets really good at 1.40 when the hook develops.

And I would mention Haim is Hanson for straight blokes, only cos it seems to annoy Kii for some reason only known to herself.

the wookiemeister way of announcing songs would be give the name of the artiste and the album that’s it – don’t bother giving the song – they’ll find it if they can remember the name of the artist

oh yes

you only ever announce after the song not before
