“In the 18th century, geologists concluded that with shifting plates and such, it was more like 6,000 years old. “

Umm … 4000 BC was 6000 years ago. I’m pretty sure that 18th Century geologists came up with an age much older than 6000 years (and much less than 4 billion).

Also I find the “weren’t they dumb, and ain’t we smart” tone of the whole thing pretty annoying (almost as bad as people who think the “ancients” were way smarter than us).

Nonetheless, I shall keep going.

I got 14 too, but I clicked on Fleming and nothing happened, so I clicked on Pasteur and it said “Hah! It was Fleming”. So I’ll claim 15.

You can if it’s magic. You also can’t slide up a bannister but that’s magic too.

I got 17. The ones I got wrong, I guessed. I also guessed a few I go right though.

Umm … 4000 BC was 6000 years ago.

The article does not say otherwise.

It implies that the geologists of the 18th Century came up with a different answer to the figure previously accepted. I suspect they left off a 0 or two.

Go down the hill, then left.Pick up the rope, go down the hole where the cow is eating. Pick up the watering can, water the tree. Go right, right, right. Get the magnet on the roof and lasso the middle bit of the UFO. Pick up the chicken feed, feed the chook, pick up feather. Water tree, tickle the guy’s nose and get the last bit of the UFO.
