Antarctic Lake Vostok buried under two miles of ice found to teem with life
A giant lake buried more than two miles beneath the Antarctic ice has been found to contain a “surprising” variety of life.
Conventional and/or previously known life forms?
I thought they found lots of DNA… Not necessarily something alive?

Although the researchers found genetic evidence of many different organisms in the ice, the overall concentration was incredibly low compared with water from lake systems on other continents, Rogers said, ranging between one cell to 100 cells per milliliter (0.04 ounces) of fluid. “If does have life, it’s interesting life, but it’s not highly concentrated life,” Rogers told LiveScience.
not so teeming after all?
as much as I’d love to go to Antarctica, I wish they’d leave it alone and ban people.
