This looks pretty interesting:

I’ve posted threads about that a few times.
Fingers crossed they’ll get it working.

Oh ok, cheers Spiny, I haven’t been around here for a while..

)

We definately need more advanced, efficient propulsion technology to get serious about mainstream space travel

nuclear superheated steam propulsion

both radioactive isotopes and water are plentiful

Maybe an space engine in the future might be a super cooled supercouncter using some quantum entaglemt

imagine an space engine that does not use heat or goes bang? or phallic thrust, just stays still

superconducting ttechnology is exciting, quantunt engalment is exciting

but dont get me wrong, phallic thrust technology is exciting too

but observing these space engines that use heat and, you have to move there traveling over long distances that can years millions of years

a cold engine, quantum entanglement, teleportation, and two copies of yourself

you here and your other self on the other side of the universe

that idea isn’t new either, its new in the sense of present technology that might evolve

when are the commercial scam jets coming?

recon it would be good to take the home built scram jet for a spin

I like this idea

an engine with no moving parts equals much less service and will be more reliable

if aliens use interstellar engines they might well work in a way that disappears the spacecraft in one place and pops it into somewhere else

UFOS might well use this tech

I see this

a mothership that transfers much smaller craft to a location

the power source to move ships from one location to another must be enormous as the motherships are rarely seen, smaller craft are always seen

aliens don’t use star trek transporter “beam me up scotty tech”, no one has ever seen this

it seems to me that if aliens are using this hop method it must require serious power to be available onboard whats being hopped from one place to another

hard unless you could model how the air is moving through the engine

then you’d have to be modelling how the exhaust is moving out the end

if rocket motors are anything to go by, not an easy task

I have it on good authority that the bobble headed Turoids from Galactic sector 7 have transporter technology but they are keeping it on the qt dur to the ongoing space border conflicts with the Kardashions.

larger craft are rarely spotted

they come into the solar system and sit out well away from earth

the smaller craft make recon missions and drop off sensors etc

the mother ship would be spotted too easily, it might well be something that doesn’t reflect light that well to give it basic stealth
