its an egg cup holder which i made on the wood lathe i ended up making 2 the big on was my final one which i got 8/10 for so i got 80% in my assessment task.

the peace of timber in the middel on the thrid picture is the off the tall one it did start off as a square bit of timber and i made it round and then got the timber out of the hole as you can see in photo 2 and the square bit of timber which has the tall egg cup sitting on it was where the cup part came off, which is in photo 1.

yeah it took me about 8 lessons to make both of them which is a 55 minute lesson.

well done – do you have a lathe at home? i know you’ve got the eggs.

nope we don’t wish we did. i am not sure if it fits an egg in ill try ok. and take a picture with it in there ok?

since you don’t have anything to do VG (chuckle) check out Povray. you can plug into it some modeling (mouse operated) software but, that’s cheating. much more fun to describe the objects etc using the povray modeling language. there’s a lathe primitive object you can shape and look at rendered result before committing to real wood lathe. <—- no need to take me too seriously there.

i just want a few minutes of sun when i get home from work, so at least i could feed the chooks with light. come on winter solstice already.
