the peace of timber in the middel on the thrid picture is the off the tall one it did start off as a square bit of timber and i made it round and then got the timber out of the hole as you can see in photo 2 and the square bit of timber which has the tall egg cup sitting on it was where the cup part came off, which is in photo 1.

Well done Veg. I reckon that would be fun to do. Have to have good concentration I suppose.

thanks.
Well done VG:D
since you don’t have anything to do VG (chuckle) check out Povray. you can plug into it some modeling (mouse operated) software but, that’s cheating. much more fun to describe the objects etc using the povray modeling language. there’s a lathe primitive object you can shape and look at rendered result before committing to real wood lathe. <—- no need to take me too seriously there.
i just want a few minutes of sun when i get home from work, so at least i could feed the chooks with light. come on winter solstice already.
