in this assessment task i got 66% for drawings and my model house.
made up of 11 drawings all done by hand, not sure how to get the drawings up, take a photo or scan them. so it will be the model house to then. also the teacher i have for graphics and woodwork (my electives for yr 9 & 10) is the same teacher, in the same class room for both things.

drawing will hopefully be up soon so please stayed tuned. also i may start drawing up plans off my gardens just need to work out a scale.

hmmm….haven’t played much google sketchup yet………i do know that it’s fairly easy to convert scan or digital photo into vector graphics using inkscape. once in vector format, you can straighten the lines etc., add text/effects/colors and whatever have you. inkscape uses/produces .svg vector graphic format files, which (btw) are used extensively in wikipedia for non-photo graphics. they scale to any size without loss of quality; unlike raster graphic file formats (e.g. png, jpeg, gif, tif, etc)

i just added svg capability to our mediawiki software at work. it’s great. i can re-scale graphs etc without labels/text going blurry or blocky. if only microsoft didn’t choose yet again a proprietary format (for silverlight) then internet explorer would have come svg ready, like all the other browsers…..and that would be a whole new ballgame in improving websites/ajax/indexing, besides great looks.

ok..i’ll get off the podium about the svg thing now.
