You just have to try and fiddle with it Veg and try and get the slider back on the track—sometime it works sometimes it doesn’t

usually even if you can get the zip back on its tracks it will happen again because the zip has been stressed. Maybe if you take the bag to a bootmaker they can sew a new zip on?

we had a spare bag the same but a different colour so i swapped it.

Isn’t there something about rubbibg soap on the teeth?

you do that if they stick I think

if it’s a low quality zipper (in a good quality bag) then replace the zipper. low quality zippers keep breaking once gone off the track one time.
a good quality (metal) zipper doesn’t cost too much, and it’s a fairly easy job with a sewing machine.
