Sorry, but I really don’t think that one is worth any more effort.

Well referring to confirmation bias doesn’t clarify your reason for me.
There are things in the universe and indeed the firmament that we know so little of.
I can only refer you to the double blind test done on Elmer Gantry when he cured two vision impaired pilgrims at the same tent revival meeting in Louisville.

It presented some photographs of ice crystals, and stated that the differences were affected by the thoughts of people in the vicinity as a statement of fact, without any information at all about how this conclusion was reached.
In what way does this suggest that this might be worth further investigation? There are 1000’s of sites like that.
Whoever knocked that site up is the one not making much effort.

Which is why I asked if there were more information available on Dr Emoto’s study.

Well yes, there is that I suppose.
(Did you know that Elmer Gantry was the name of an excellent late 60’s rock band?)

“Gives a whole new meaning to “Holy Water”, Right?”
he should get some holy water, take a photo, then feed it satanic thoughts.. see what happensAren’t thought and prayer the same thing?
“In conclusion, the present pilot results are consistent with a number of previous studies suggesting that intention may be able to influence the structure of water. Future replications should concentrate on eliminating all conceivable conventional artifacts, and protocols should be employed that can help discriminate among the various unconventional explanations.”
Radin, Hayssen, Emoto, Kizu 2006 ‘Double-Blind Test of the Effects of Distant Intention on Water Crystal Formation’ EXPLORE: The Journal of Science and Healing, Vol 2 Issue 5 Sept 2006 pp 408-411
The other results I found were Emoto -authored articles in journals of alternative medicine.
Didn’t anyone else notice the name?
Emoto?
I can’t find any studies in which Masaru Emoto wasn’t an author. I did find one study about “Synthesis of vector wave envelopes on the free surface of a random medium for the vertical incidence of a plane wavelet based on the Markov approximation” by a Kentauro Emoto though.
Sorry, Kentaro Emoto.

>“Again, for comparison, here is the intent projected of “You make me sick, I will kill you”
Oh yes, I seems so obvious, I was quite impressed by the use of the extremes of comparison, and it just brought home how insensitive i’ve become to subtleties.
Next time I have a nonsense-induced headache I’ll get someone to back over my head with a truck just for some recalibration.
