I have used Diggers and Green Harvest but I haven’t bought seeds in a while because I still have quite a collection.

the first time you order they will assign you a member code, and then you just quote it the next time you order. It just means you are not on their list yet.

I can’t remember where I got my first one, but I got another one last year from GE. Our cat now has the first one under his basket to keep him warm in winter :D

I have a little green house that is just some shelves with a cover. Not a walk in one. I use it in there when I am propogating seeds in cool weather.

I’ve used green harvest too and they’re good. Very quick with delivery. So are Diggers but i’m not a member anymore. I found their stuff was more Southern climate.
Eden seeds have a great selection too.

the heat mat for seeds is outside in the little green house. I have an external powerpoint to plug it into.

It’s OK to use more than one company – gives you more choice.

Look into making a coldframe VG. You can use recycled materials. I see you are pretty good at making stuff.

Clothing. It’s too cold to be naked.
Do you know what a coldframe is?

I haven’t used them for a while vege but I don’t think you need one. You get a number when you buy something so it’s probably just for their records if you’re already a customer.

Eden and Green Harvest are sort of connected. I think the Eden Seeds guy founded Green Harvest before moving on. I have sometimes received Eden Seeds in a Green Harvest order.

Do you mean someone in a town near you stocks their seeds? Select Organics and Eden Seeds are the same people.

You might find Eden in some of the nurseries too. I don’t really know what the difference is anyway because I think Eden are organic anyway, and they have a much bigger range than Select.

i still haven’t found a source that will post the seeds i’ve been buying mostly lately. and i still maintain that these seeds are the best value for money. also these seeds are veg varieties not usually found here, and have produced very well for me. it’s the italian brand big seed packets, with about a thousand seeds, for the price of usual seed packet.
