A good friend’s son is a finalist for the Black Swan Prize for Portraiture. The finalists’ paintings can be seen at:

I realise that, Arts. I expect you’d vote for the painting you most like.

I’m biased (without seeing the other paintings) and am drumming up interest in the exhibition, whilst secretly hoping William wins. Mind if William does win, his father will become an intolerably proud parent for a while.

Now William has been selected as a finalist for this prize, whether he wins or not, he is eligible to enter the Archibald.
