ms pepe has had this silk spun up for her. the silk comes from my mothers collection (at least 10 y.o) and has been spun with wool to form 7-8 ply strands. ms pepe wants a modern jumper but can’t find a pattern to suit.
where should she look?

Okay try “Google” also Lincraft and maybe spotlight may have some books on the wool.

If she has the name brand of the wool… try looking into their website (if they have one) often there are free patterns to suit their wools.

Check the local library, mine has some books with lovely madern patterns. Charity shops usually have some pattern books instock, most are hopelessly outdated but some styles never go out of fashion.

right now all the companies are bringing out there books for winter ..I have to say there are some lovely patterns for winter ..fitted cable jumpers and cardies are in …go to your local wool shop ..second best try spotlight for pattern boooks or big w . if you google ladies knitted jumper patterns you will have 10000s jump out at you … try knitty or mag..(american sites but great patterns ) try the knitting mags in the newsagent ..there is a new issue of ythe aussie yarn coming soon ..
creative knits is marketed as aussie but reclcles old english patterns ..don’t bother !
as a last resort -….
