probably not.

throughout human history there have been tens of millions of carpenters, most of them completely unremarkable. The odds of you being a carpenter and Jesus are probably more far-fetched than winning the lottery.

I prefer working with metal.
It’s easier to make stronger structures and stronger joints by welding.

If I were a fitter and turner, I would know how to use the lathe that I bought yesterday and am about to install in the workshop. Big old 1970s thing, but solid as. Today it will get a clean up, then I will work out how to get it off the trailer.

Back the trailer as far into the shed as possible, past where you want the lathe to end up. Tie the lathe to the back wall of the shed with a rope that has lots of slack left in it. Accelerate hard out of the shed. Problem solvered…
