Subject: Repairing Terracotta Trent Oven

I thought I had packed it securely but the powers that be defeated me and the case was dropped. There is a clean break in the lid.

This is a Terracotta “Trent Oven”, that has to be soaked in water for a couple of hours before using. It is glazed inside of the bottom half but the top half, which is the broken bit, is entirely unglazed terracotta.

Is it possible to adhere the lid back together again so I can cook with it? It’s the best for fish…
