Not me.. i don’t find anything he does remotely amusing.
I’m agreeing with Droppy. Again.
Is this a function of me getting older, or you?
;)
Sorry, can’t stay around. I feel guilty not doing real work. Now that really is a function of my upbringing. If there are things that should be done, I feel compelled to do them.

It’s a function of me being fabulous of course ;)
I liked his first series, but none of the subsequent stuff. And that Ja’mie is his most irritating character.
I watched the first ep; it’s on after Gruen and Jasmine was sitting on the remote. I didn’t think it was funny but it’s scarily on the mark WRT teen girls.
And I’ve been saying “totes quiche” all week. Don’t judge me.
Don’t like either of the Jamies. Him or Oliver.
I have no idea what this thread is about.

if teenage girls are behaving like that truely.. then we all have a big problem
Well from my limited experience with teenage girls recently I think he is close to the mark, and yes, I think we have a big problem.

*wonders if Bob realises it is a mockumentary *
I think it’s quite interesting that everyone here seems to think that this show is totally unfunny because it’s an OTT parody of the behaviour of a specific group, but other TV programs which have a similar basis for their humour, such as The Big Bang Theory for instance, are regarded as quite funny.
I wonder why that is.

People find different things funny?
I have no doubt Lilley and his creations are well loved, but they’re not my cup of scotch
Anyone here ever lived in Broken Hill?

Sure, but those two shows are quite similar in the basis of their humour.

I don’t find it that funny either, although I wouldn’t say it was totally unfunny.
Yeh Big Bang stopped being a window into nerd land a long time ago. It’s just a vehicle for Sheldon to be whacky now
