It’s the driveway on one side Peps, and the lawn has big bare patches of sand.

LOL – funny how things jump into the trolley at that place! It is looking great!

My Mum had a big rose garden in the country – my main (childhood) associations with it were my chores- the dead-heading and weeding, and some nice cut flowers. I guess that even way back then I was more interested in food gardens! :D

my tiny bit of lawn has gone to the pack. lots of broad leaf weeds.

Yes Peps, we have re-seeded and the new grass is doing well since the rain. It still won’t grow under the canopy of the cedars though :(
