It looks to me very much like Albizia which was named after Filipo del Albizzi, who I think if memory serves me correctly was an 18th century nobleman from Florence who introduced it into Europe and environs.in Europe.

Auckland is one of the worst places for introduced flora.

Bren is advised to pull up that invasive weed and replant it with something decent and wonderful and bird attracting like a Kowhai or northern Rata or kakabeak.
