Many forumers have had a horrible year. Of course, we lost one of our own: Geoff was a valued poster and he’s greatly missed. As well as losing Geoff, other forumers have lost family members, which is never easy even if it’s expected. Other forumers have lost their jobs, which is disheartening. In all, it’s not been a year full of fun or happiness (except for Arts, who is perpetually happy).
This year did have some good bits: MV’s Brissy pud in March was a highlight, Geoff finally had his book published, I got to meet the Perth crew (apologies for being a complete zombie that day, I was beyond exhaustion), SSSF was recognised as being the first online use of the word “selfie”…
Wishing all forumers and their families a super duper 2014. We’re all in this together… and by choice!
