thanks for the memo BG.

I had a bypass operation on the last day of august and took 17 days to recover in hospital. I am well enough now and doing rehab at the gym.
Strange how well I feel given that the op involves life support. My father had the same op at the same hospital back in the 70’s. It’s an incredible procedure lasting 5 hours with 14 staff present – pity I didn’t get to see any of it – well? – maybe it’s better I didn’t.

thanks to RB and dinetta as well – my garden is fine because its a good year. picking Hawkesbury wonder beans and just finished harvesting the winter spuds and garlic.
diggers ‘atomic red’ carrots and lots of pumpkin, cueys, sweet potato, more beans, zuchs and sunflowers planted.

Oh dear my own heart is going pit-a-pat…very grateful I am that you’re still with us…a heart bypass is tricky…I’ve watched operations on the television and they are fascinating…bet you were sore for a few days…tremendous to see you are still gardening solidly…
