Hope you all have a lovely day. I am at my daughter’s watching my grandson play with his new toys.

There’s just me and my cranky. I’ve spent Christmas fixing dodgy light fittings that I couldn’t fix until a) I was here during daylight and b) my torn shoulder allowed me to do the job.
Merry Chistmas.
We had toasted sandwiches for Christmas lunch. LOL
Heading up to Yangan to Kevin’s nephews for afternoon tea.
Youngest son is working today so we’ll have our celebrations tomorrow.
Merry Christmas everyone. Our breakfast picnic in the park was lovey. Giant Son and GF were here for the morning and hubby is now taking them home. GS played his guitar and little Tia danced to his tunes, she was was sooo cute. We ate mini egg and ham rolls and lots of fresh fruit and drank lime cordial.
A fellow from a nearby house came out to say hello and tell us that he was very pleased to see a family having their Christmas day meal in the park. He told us his great grandfather used to own a big parcel of land there, including the park and that his great gf and g’fathers huge combined families used to hold every Christmas there under the peppercorn trees. They had many tables and would put them all in a long line and pile them with the festive foods. They fed half the town back then. He said it’s been many years since anyone used the park for Xmas day. It was a lovely story.
Back to the fore now.. while I’m home alone I’ve been putting through loads of washing, hanging it out, and watering the garden and fruit trees between loads. I got some bales of lucerne a few days back and snipped the string to one and let the chooks scratch it all open. They did a splendid job and next I will mulch the eggplant bed and tomato bed.
There’s enough leftovers for tea, but middle daughter KK is bringing home a cooked turkey from her inlaws. Yum!
I’ve just spent the last hour or so sleeping off a massive Roast Turkey, Pork and Ham lunch at a resort on the north coast of PNG. I spent the morning snorkelling a reef about 11kt off the coast. Lunch was massive and well tasty and I now see they’re setting up dinner tables at the sunset lounge…. oh boy.
Merry Xmas everyone by the by.
lunch was at the son-in-law’s folks again this year. ate too much again this year. feeling sleepy now.
