I received by Australia post an invitation to join Worldwide Who’s Who, as I am retired Mechanical Engineer, age 73 years I can’t see any benifit to me, but this does sounds like a scam to me, has anyone else had this offer?

Why? I haven’t worked for years, and I don’t think I could find my old sliderule or drawing board and Tee square?
It’s a scam.

I’m amazed you haven’t had one of these before bob.
Now the invitation to appear in “Top Professionals” magazine that I received today is entirely different of course.
The modus operandi is to offer a “free” listing, then pester you for all sorts of “premium products” until you end up paying them to go away.

Yes. I was in Who’s Who for a while. It’s no hassle, so long as you don’t buy a copy.
