There are some people whose brains just aren’t wired up properly and there is nothing anyone can do about that and the only thing that can be done is to execute them or keep them locked up until they die because if they get out they will do the same thing again.

Maybe some killers can be “re-programmed”, but your genuine psychopath has wiring problems that can’t be fixed, we just have to accept that.

by the looks of it , its down to easy they can get in

despite the interview I believe he targeted weak/vulnerable people/ unaware

he didn’t break into a gangsters house for example to try and kill him – he had enough presence of mind to pick targets – they weren’t totally random

Fair point, but then there was Charles Manson & Sharon Tate, but that is the exception. It’s all about expressions of power, and the more powerless the victim, the easier it is for the killer. They are basically cowards when you think about it.

if they think they will cop a hiding or will be injured they back off

the character that go in the shooting rampages seem to surrender as soon as they see someone with a gun or shoot themselves

rarely do you see them attack someone armed like themselves
