As for why aliens haven’t colonised Earth, that’s an interesting question. Hypotheses include:

1) There are no aliens.
2) Earth has nothing they want, for example perhaps its gravity field is too strong.
3) It’s not financially viable.
4) They’re environmentally aware.
5) They have but we haven’t noticed.
