I’ve never thought about buying plants on e-bay. I sold some things a couple of times; but tend to avoid it as a rule. Just too dangerous.
Little genie just popped up on the puter to say its bed time. Seeing as the last four posts are mine, guess I’m here by myself, so I’ll do as I’m told and go to bed. Work day tomorrow. Going to be sore.
I’m turning 40 later this year, and I never feel like I’m anywhere near that old – except when I push the physical too hard (or when I hang out with young people). Shovelling manure and dirt and stuff all afternoon – that pushed the physical just a wee too hard. But they’re saying rain this week, and I wanted it done. And now its done. And despite the aches I’m a happy camper.
Just too dangerous.

Why? Scared of becoming another addict? LOL

Okay Bubba….. my thoughts on your addiction to these plants……
YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Addictions are good for you…. knocks another skinny coke back…
Addictions keep you active…….running back and forth to the shops buying more plants.
Addictions keep you broke……. Stops you going to the pokies.
My thoughts on this TIC :D

The kid’s made a darned good suggestion and you squeaked at him? How unkind, lol!!
All you’d have to do is find something to do instead that doesn’t cost money. Hmmmm…. I’m willing to help brainstorm.
1/ go through all your photos and write people’s names on.
2/ write a family history – will need your keenly honed research skills!
3/ do a proofreading course and list horticulture as an interest – get paid to edit gardening books.

Did uni myself – took 14 years and becoming a single mum (twice) to get a 3 year degree! Sleep deprivation knocked a coupla years out at a time – my boys were shocking sleepers as babies.
Went back to uni fulltime, first semester last year. Decided to chuck that – not meant to be a teacher after all.
Went back to TAFE fulltime this year, and I think at last I’ve found the kind of training that will get me a job in this little town – a degree certainly didn’t get me anywhere in the sticks. Pity about the $15,000 worth of HECS and SFSS debts :( Need a big city for a BA to get you a job, I think, and I ain’t goin’ nowhere near no city to live!!!!

actually you need to sell yourself to get a job as a BA (and they didn’t teach you salesmanship at uni).
6/ BA – become blooming altruist
7/ sleep a lot – this is a good way of saving money and avoiding trouble
