surprise an answer from roughy with no useful content

think the word “recommended” might indicate the writer of the question was asking for input in regards to particular forums found to be interesting or useful

It may depend upon your preference of scientific disciplines.

Last time I looked, I didn’t find any. There are any number of forums about small aspects of science, eg. physics, but they don’t cover enough of science to interest me. There are also forums where you get to comment about published articles, such as those in New Scientist, but most of the comments are inane or ill-informed.

Sounds like a trick question. Perhaps you should consult the Bible and check the quote, give unto Caesar etc.

sciforums is the closest I have found, its a lot like the old sssf but its not a `community’ like sssf was
a lot more Q & A, but not as friendly

(your title has a misspelling btw (science you swapped the n and c)

;-)

not mine, but same make/model as I drive on some runs

(obviously not on some others anymore tho lol)

OH THE HORROR!!!

no enclosure, full length handrails, angle and spacings exceed required OHS regs

requires scaffolding erected by approved personnel, and use of safety harnesses (with approved training of course….) to be used with safety!!!

who says OHS hasnt gone wild in big companies….

Heh. My dad was an OHS convert after some new rules required workers to wear safety harnesses on the competitors mining equipment, but not theirs, as their machine was 5cm lower
