Global health success: India certified free of polio

“The incidence of the disease has dropped by more than 99% since 1988. It remains endemic in three countries — Pakistan, Nigeria and Afghanistan — down from more than 125 countries in 1988.”

Everything is endemic in Nigeria – the sooner they oust the government there and get a working medical system the better.

you know what I would do?

hand out lots of some free “mineral water” (fell off the back of a wagon)

the punters wouldn’t know that its got the polio vaccine in it

maybe you’d create some fake drink and distribute it throughout the country and people would buy it

you’d just squirt the vaccine into the drink and the punters would actually buy it
