Great photos PM. Is the long tailed buzzard (Henicopernis longicauda) related to the Pacific Baza? They have similar colouring.

- i take it you haven’t been to serbia so your co-contributors are good too.
the ‘waterfall on a ledge’ is a wonderful pictorial and easy to appreciate, but the still life like ‘lemon and pea’ are new and therefore more innovative subject matter.
the portraits – i’ve seen faces like those before – there must be a certain number of facial types that keep repeating around the world. the raven is my favourite wildlife shot – the brown stripe across its startled face lifts it out of the ordinary.
