I’m trying to purchase a camera from Amazon but they won’t ship to Australia. I believe there are agencies who will act as surrogate addressess. Anyone know anything about these? Alternatively, can you suggest a reliable online camera supplier who will ship to an Australian addresse?

I’ve not used any, but, most charge a monthly fee. Iirc shipitto is one that has OK ratings.

Mrs. Spalding recommends Digital Camera Warehouse in Brisbane, or CameraStore in Adelaide, as Australian-based suppliers. Maybe not as cheap as Amazon sources, but good prices and reliable. CameraStore is very prompt with its service.

If you really want to give your hard earned to them, that’s your prerogative. I’ll give mine to businesses with slightly less demeaning and exploitative behaviour towards their staff.

Friend of mine has used one without any problems, can remember the name of it though. Could be myus.com
