Has anyone tried these and if so, what results? Seeing as we are STILL here, we thought we might get one of these so I don’t stress out when the roses get the new shoots and the bloomin’ Crimson Rosella start destroying them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh sorry I didn’t see this earlier.. you chatty lot lol. I’ve had great sucess with rubber snakes. The big cobra ones with their head reared up a bit..nothings touched that bed since. Mind you theres only bare fruit trees in it, but a vast number of cockys converged one day and the bed was a mess. Not now. I got the snakes at one of those $2 shops. Toy stores have them too.

I tried one to keep kingfishers away from my native bees. It didn’t work, and a willywagtail even sat on it and pooed on it’s head.

LOL BL!!
I do have to move their positions from time to time. I’m told too that string up old CD’s on fishing line will keep birds off things.

I will be sure to report back on the success or not of this hawk – it is supposed to be very effective. I just want to keep the bloomin’ rosellas OFF my roses this year especially as the house is on the market. Don’t want a garden full of shredded, destroyed rose bushes like last year. Might go get myself a snake or three as well! Maybe even a cardboard pussycat as well!! LOL
