We should have a federal parliament sale
Closing down sale, is it?
i did think the same thing. or a fund raiser.
I’d like to see the situation where MPs had to run cake stalls and raffles to fund their travel budget, with their junkets funded solely on the basis of the proceeds.

It’s the mining industry driving the country into the ground, they are trying to take down every other industry so they can just dig and frack where they want. If mining is the only industry it means we will have to do what they say because there’s no other employer.
If the government opened up some state owned mines we’d be able to afford schools and hospitals and pay off the debt in a few years.
The whole purpose of having no government business is the drive the population into further poverty and despair – they feed off it.

Nothing from what remains of CSIRO’s civil engineering, mechanical engineering, materials, manufacturing, mining, petroleum, chemistry and physics work.
It’s almost all biology, is CSIRO biology all that remains now?

And most of them are either too broad or too localised to be generally useful.
