Subject: A Duckling adventure

This is a link to a little photo-story. I gave up trying to do a separate one for this forum – the Photobucket codes for clickable thumbnails are different. It might also partly explain why I’m not getting much else done lately :P Enjoy!

A couple of them – or maybe it was the same one twice had a real adventure during the night! A duckling managed to scramble up the towel in the brooder, drop about a metre to the floor, negotiate several metres of tiles into my bedroom beside my bed! Next time didn’t go so far before letting me know! No harm appears to have resulted but modification of mesh lid to this brooder coming up – then in a few days to a bigger crate. At the moment they are on top of a stool with standard lamp beside and shining on them at quite a comfortable working height for me but not for their safety if they insist on going exploring!
