John Michael Howson & Alan Jones always sounded eerily alike to me

doubt they have the same finger prints, but probably hung out at the same clubs

probably not. People can make a professional living imitating others. Whether it be serious actors learning the mannerisms of the their subject, or comedians lampooning politicians.

i would say yes with sensitive enough equipment. everyones anatomy is different so the anatomy of the throat, and other stuff around there that help us make sound, will be unique. subtle maybe but unique nonetheless.

Anyway, back to the question,

“is the human voice as individual as our fingerprints?”

i wonder if voice identity theft could become an issue

they’d need to make laws against imitating people

But by the same token, the anatomy of the throat and vocal cords may mean that even though we are unique to each other, saying a word twice by the same person might both be unique in themselves. And so it is not identifiable like a fingerprint.
