i choose 3 or 4 types ..knowing half will fail or i won’t like them

i go through and pick out names I like ..(sad isnt it !!) then look them up on the ‘net ..where i live cool varieties will not be successful
so there out …if i like the sound of them… and the look …i buy

i found brandy wine by this method and it is brillant here ..loves heat ..late maturing . i find a lot of supermarket ones by this method ..some can be suprising ..and if your lucky have lots of growing info … ie *college challenger ( grosse lisse relative bred at hawksbury ag 1950’s ) * ES58 both hybrids but good here ..again heat loving and blight resistant really no method just fingers crossed ,

As a coincidence I happened to pick up an Eden Seeds Catalogue today at the health food shop in town. It doesn’t list the african cucumber in it. Woops! Yes it does. It depends what end of the catalogue you start to read from.

Well from the improvements on his site, I would say he is very busy…also no Miss Moderator to tease here…he has a vegetable farm of his own, besides being an arborist by training (tree doctor, like ??? Burke)
