Subject: Fukushima radiation levels

Year 9 Science homework should not be this hard. After hours of “googling” Sharkboy has not been able to find information for his assignment. IT would be nice if teachers told their students where to find the correct information.

He has to investigate by research levels in the environment from 11 March to 30 July 2011. He has to:

1) a graph representing the radiation levels in the environment in Japan. The graphs need to include the data for the following prefectures (Fukishima,Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Osaka, Nara and Tokushima’

2) A graph representing the water radiation levels for the two types of radioactive substances found in Japan’s tap water. The graphs need to include the following prefectures (Tokyo, Gunma, Ibarki, Tochigi and Chiba)

Can anyone find where this information can be found???

Thanks

okay – stop looking (in case you were). FOund the information. The science teacher had put the very long web address for a pdf on the hand out for the assignment. Because it was on a printed document – cant just click on the link. We were typing the address incorectly using a dash instead of an underscore!!! That wasted hours…

Make sure Sharkboy assigns the colour red to the maximum levels on a map for maximum impact.
