“Crusaders” tend to be figures of mockery in contemporary usage, e.g., “morals crusader”, “anti-porn crusader” etc.

Jesus is a common name as well. J.M. Allegro indicated that the name descended from the word for penis.

In that, God was on Hitler’s side. To be fair though he must have been out having a pee at the time because he stopped Adolf from breathing as soon as he spotted what was going down.
