Prepare for explosive fun with the Scitech science shows, experience exciting demonstrations from Universities, listen to Costa Georgiadis from Gardening Australia and be amazed by Antarctic explorer, Tim Jarvis who recreated British explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton’s survival journey. National Science Week celebrates and acknowledges the contributions of Australian Scientists to our world. It also aims to encourage an interest in science among the general public and to raise awareness of the fascinating world that we live in.
