Entertain the whole family and celebrate National Science Week with the FREE Perth Science festival! Prepare for explosive fun with the Scitech science shows, experience exciting demonstrations from Universities, listen to Costa Georgiadis from Gardening Australia and be amazed by Antarctic explorer, Tim Jarvis who recreated British explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton’s survival journey. National Science Week celebrates and acknowledges the contributions of Australian Scientists to our world. It also aims to encourage an interest in science among the general public and to raise awareness of the fascinating world that we live in.

From 16th to 24th August 2014.

There are 20 events in Melbourne, all free. (I think).

A friend just told me that he wen to see Dr. Karl in Manjimup the other evening.
He said that enjoyed the experience.
The crowd was mainly schoolkids, he said. Which isn’t surprising.
