Hello Hello, I want to move an apple tree outta the ground into a pot.
Is now the best time to do this while it’s dormant?

Muschee, you are right some Horts are now preferring to wait until there is some activity in the tree, but I think this is more a “results” thingo.

I think some people get scared if they move something at the height of dormancy and the tree shows no reaction, they sometimes think they may have killed it, so if you move it when it is waking up then you will know straight away what is happening with the tree.

I’d move it now.
