In a roundabout sort of way, I just found this forum. I used to belong to the old ABC garden forum and when I wanted to ask a question last week was redirected to the new one. It doesn’t seem very friendly, first question not posted, next one was cut and took two days to get on, third one not there yet.

I am delighted to see some familiar names Lucky, Bluegreen, Bubba Louie. I can’t remember what my username was on the old forum, might have been Sweetpea but not sure.

I have a few questions as I have just gone organic with my vege plot. Rosabianca

Thank you for all your welcome messages. I have spent most of the afternoon trying to “find myself” I found a message from Sweetpea but it wasn’t mine. I think I originally wanted Sweetpea but it was taken.

I eventually found myself and I was “Pepperspray” I think I prefer that to Rosabianca so I’m going to try and change it. Does anyone have a problem with people changing their name?? I did this in real life by going back to my maiden name and at the same time shortening my first name. Most people accepted it but some could come to grips with it. After 30 years, my next door neighbour still uses my original name.

My (several) questions will folow under Pepperspray if it can be accepted.

Dinetta, No Rose Bud wasn’t me.

I have always been conscious not to use chemicals in the garden but I was recently encouraged to do it “properly” by a new neighbour who showed me where to buy the right stuff and how to do layers of good things like sheep dags, NPK Prime Red, humus etc. And I’ve joined Diggers Club and ordered some vege seeds.
