Subject: Rolling Boulders & Falling Ice on Mars

Who say nothing much happens on Mars? First image is of a large, elongated boulder (6 metres x 3.5) that rolled down a slope leaving an odd repeating pattern in its trail due to its shape.
Second image shows two shots a year apart, revealing a large chunk of dusty ice tumbling down a slope and breaking apart, at the planet’s North Pole.

Interesting, we’ve seen evidence of changes in satellite images due to recent events before, but these are the best quality that I’ve seen.

It’s not surprising that freeze-thaw cycles at the poles create recent erosion events.
