Doesn’t matter, you’ll put roughly the same amount back on in two years.

Interpretation
The rate of weight loss does not affect the proportion of weight regained within 144 weeks. These findings are not consistent with present dietary guidelines which recommend gradual over rapid weight loss, based on the belief that rapid weight loss is more quickly regained.

The 3F regime developed by one of our own forum members is a slow weight loss programme.
It can take up to 50 years before you start seeing the first results of this self paced laissez-faire revolution.

Its a hobbit diet, up to a maximum of three breakfasts, and can include 1st, 2nd and 3rd breakfast, morning tea/play lunch, lunch, afternoon lunch, linner, dinner, supper, lupper, late night snack

I’m all for any diet which utilises the foliage of the gravy tree.

Interesting.

JFTR, I would not consider losing 12.5% of one’s body weight over a 36 week period particularly ‘slow’.

Huh? The most recent I heard was the opposite. Rapid weight loss is less quickly regained.
