Why are you drinking so early in the day?

sweet cordial in the morning … hmm
I’m not drinking any wine, I’m gardening and then shopping. But tonight I’ll raise a glass for Gough, which will probably be another bottle of the quite nice Nottage Hill cab sauv (currently on special :)) that I enjoyed last night.

Does it matter?

Self medicating with alcohol isn’t a very smart idea.

silly question
I’ve just got back in FNQ and have had my possessions sent up after being in storage. Rifling through it all at the moment and have been happy to find quite a few bottles. Penfolds bin 389, 8, and 407 along with some Peter leahman futures. All have a few years on them now. They are drinking well hick
A week ago I opened a 1970 bottle of Taylors Grange, which I’d found at my grandfather’s place back in 1999.
Unfortunately, it had never been stored properly, with the cork having perished and some of the wine having leaked out. It looked like tea.
FIL took a sip; said it tasted like sherry. The rest went down the sink.
Yes, the cork holds a lot of romance about wine, yet the new screw tops certainly do improve storage. I had a similar issue with an old french Grenache handed to me. At least the bottle was worth keeping.
None, but am imagining drinking a nice big glass of red. Does that count?!
Wild Duck Creek – 2010 Ducks & Drakes.
Went extremely well with the lamb stew.

What did the others eat?
I gave them a portion of my stew.
I am a forgiving Father and Husband.

BTW, tonight was a Wild Duck Creek – 2010 Springflat Shiraz.
Went very nicely with the roast.
A cheap but surprisingly tasty pepsi max.

Why do some forumers assume that everyone is always drinking wine and listening to music?

Because that’s all they do?
