Hi VG :) Haven’t seen GA yet (taped it) but Perth is pretty small, so if you’re in Perth you’re near Kings Park! Haven’t been in ages but hoping to go and see the boab soon. We always take friends to Kings Park when they visit from overseas etc.

Hmm, maybe! Don’t hold your breath though – I’ve got stacks of stuff still to do in the garden, so I won’t have time for sightseeing for a while!

We fly over next Monday for 9 days. Might get to Kings Park; not sure. Haven’t made many plans yet. As long as I turn up for graduation I don’t really care.

What kind of plants are you into, Sue? If it’s natives, and particularly Banksias, then I would definitely recommend Bold Park. There’s a look out you drive up off Oceanic Drive, with a walkaway at the top where you walk through banksias with a beautiul view at the top.

Sorry to hijack this thread :)

True! Here, this is the website of the Botanic Gardens & Parks Authority, who look after Kings Park:

http://www.bgpa.wa.gov.au/o/content/view/458/41/

Pictures of the boab are at the bottom of the page.
