Cold, overcast and just plain wintry here in Luckyland:D

But my friend is slipping from my fingers……….. sigh.

Found an open blossom on one of the plum trees today and the nectarine out tomorrow I would say:)

its cold for september in adelaide
.
normally i would plant all my summer veges today. but i doubt that the frost tender summer veges would succeed if i planted them now. so no corn, cueys, basil, toms, eggplant or capsicum for at least two weeks.

on the up side – everything is normally picked by now or its going to seed – but i’m still picking – kale, parsley, cabbage, broccolli, spinach and lettuce and i have dug up some well buried sweet potato. i’m having them all with herbs and crumbed gluten steaks tonight.

one of my capsicums has survived winter and i’ve picked several small caps off.

My almonds have been flowering for probably 3 weeks now – plum has just started, flowering peach has leaves but no flowers yet.
