Someone on Aussie Chook Chat is looking for vermin proof feeders. Doesn’t BG have one of those where the chook has to open it by stepping on a platform? I can’t find them on google.

Yeah it’s in Poultry prattle….have a look in this thread and copy and paste the photo. I am sure BG won’t mind.

I checked that thread but it doesn’t seem to be there. Do you know what they’re called so I can google it?

hi I’m back :)

I don’t know what the feeder is called. I bought it at my feed supplier. I’ll try and find out where they get them from next time I am in.

Lucky..we have to postpone our trip to Adelaide for a couple week’s.

All thank’s to giant sons case manager who has set up an all day assesment for him on the 13 th of May.. we were supposed to fly over on the 12th originally.
We have to work closely with this fellow (he want’s a review of son’s meds and dx ) but sometime’s I could happily strangle him ! Hubby’s had to re arrange his week off too.
I will let you know closer to that date , when we will come over.

Sounds good VG. You’ll have to fence the plants and trees off, until they get big enough to put up with the chooks.

My chiken run isn’t real big… as they have underneath the cubby house as well as the run…. I can take some pic if you want….. nothing overly egg-citing about my chook abode.
